Kate Middleton's Unexpected Cousin

Feb. 14, 2011— -- "I'm definitely invited to the wedding now," Ellen DeGeneres said as she revealed that she and Kate Middleton are 15th cousins.
The Emmy-winner, 53, received a letter from the New England Genealogical Society outlining her link with the princess-to-be.
A man named Sir Thomas Fairfax is their common ancestor.
DeGeneres even offered a helping hand with the wedding preparations.
"Let me know if you need me to plan the bachelorette party," DeGeneres joked.
DeGeneres shared the royal revelation with viewers on Thursday's episode of her talk show.
