Beloved comedic actress Betty White's decadeslong career spanned generations. She began her television career in the late 1930s and starred in shows from “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and "The Golden Girls," to "Hot in Cleveland." An Emmy Award-winning actress, she also appeared in films and soap operas and became the oldest host of "Saturday Night Live." White wrote several books and was a long-time animal activist.
