8 Hurt in Explosion in Israel

H A D E R A, Israel, May 25 -- Officials say at least eight people have been hurt in an explosion near a bus station in Israel.

Israeli radio reports the explosion went off near the main busstation in the central Israeli town of Hadera.

A witness says a car blew up near a bus. There's been no claimof responsibility.

Paramedics say none of the injuries appears to be serious.

The blast came hours after a Palestinian truck sped toward anIsraeli army post in the Gaza Strip and exploded under Israelifire.

The Islamic militant group Hamas said the truck incident was asuicide attack.
