— -- Police in London arrested two more men today as part of ongoing investigations into "Islamist related terrorism."

The two men are in addition to nine others arrested Thursday, the city's Metropolitan Police Service said in a statement.

All but one of the men are accused of being members of a banned group and encouraging terrorism. That eleventh man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, police said.

Anjem Choudary, a former leader of a banned radical group called al-Muhajiroun, was among the nine arrested Thursday, reported British media, but that wasn't confirmed by police.
