— -- An Australia entrepreneur has seemingly solved the dilemma of whether to grab a hot dog or hamburger at a backyard barbecue.

Mark Murray of Perth is marketing the "Hamdog," a combination hot dog and hamburger with a custom-made bun to fit the dish’s odd shape.

The $8 item features a beef patty cut in half with a hot dog inserted in the middle. Toppings include lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles and three sauces, according to News.com.au.

Murray, who previously appeared on the show "Shark Tank" with the idea, wants to franchise and license the burger to bring his meaty combination worldwide.

The Hamdog’s Facebook page states, "Join the revolution today."
