Baby's Viral Thumbs-Up School Pic Is Cooler Than 'The Fonz'

Baby Sawyer may be only 5-months-old, but he’s already nailed his first professional school photo.
“The daycare actually told me about the photo when I picked him up the day it was taken,” Kim Loudon, Sawyer’s mom, told ABC News. “I couldn't believe they were able to capture not only a thumbs-up, but a big smile, so we were anxiously waiting for the photos to arrive. It turned out better than we could have imagined.”

The photo has gone wildly viral for obvious reasons, getting nearly 3 million views since it was posted to Reddit on Wednesday. His “cool guy” attitude could be compared to The Fonz from “Happy Days,” whose character was notorious for flashing his “thumbs-up” pose, or perhaps Sawyer is just a young, poised politician-in-training.
Sawyer’s parents say there’s no telling how they’ll top this school photo in the future, but “someone recommended we try to get the same photo each year, which I think we'll try to do,” Kim and her husband, Jeff, explained.
“He clearly knows how to take a good photo so I'm sure he'll think of something on his own,” they added.
