Cat can't get enough of new scratching post

— -- A curious kitten in Kenosha, Wisconsin, received a purrfect new scratching post.

Derek Zimmerman posted a video on YouTube Sunday of his sister’s cat, who can’t seem to get enough of the new toy.

In the video, the friendly feline can be seen rolling around the post and digging his claws into the carpeted post.

Scratching removes worn and tattered outer nails so new ones can be exposed, according to the American Humane Society. The organization says there is no need to worry about scratching as it’s completely normal and healthy behavior.
