— -- Brian Kucharik said he was "relaxed" when he seamlessly caught a foul ball during a recent baseball game in Philadelphia.

It didn't matter that the Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, man was holding his 4-year-old daughter Emily along with a cheesesteak and fries. He still caught the ball.

His amazing catch wowed fans Thursday inside Citizens Bank Park, where the Philadelphia Phillies were playing the Toronto Blue Jays.

"I've played outfield. I've played a lot of baseball," the father told ABC News. "So I raised my hand as if I had a mitt on ... and let it hit my hand. I didn't try to grab it. I just closed around it. And did everything instinctually that I could."

Kucharik, 34, said he's been playing baseball and softball "all my life."

"I've loved it since the first time I played," he added.

And although his daughter Emily was resting comfortably during the catch, now she's excited about her new toy.

"Initially, she wanted to give the ball back and I'm like, 'No honey, we get to keep this one,'" Kucharik recalled. "She's come around to saying it's our ball. It really is hers. I'll find a way to mount it with the tickets so she can remember ... when she's older."
