— -- In a post that has since gone viral on Facebook, one soon-to-be father explained what he's learned from watching his fiancée endure her sometimes challenging pregnancy.

Joshua Streeter wrote how pregnancy has affected his fiancée, Ariana Ward, "with all the stress, aching and using the bathroom and sickness throughout the entire day."

Streeter, 20, added that he feels it's his job to "come in, make her feel that it's OK to cry, get upset, mad and laugh out of nowhere and make her feel like she is a damn queen."

The post has now been liked more than 80,000 times.

The Panama City, Florida, man said he had no idea his post would go viral. The post was coupled with a photo of Streeter holding back Ward's hair as she suffered through nausea one evening after a day at the beach with his step-mother, who captured the photo.

"To be honest with you, I was just trying to be sweet and surprise her with a heartfelt message," he told ABC News.

Ward said she was touched by his thoughtfulness.

"He does that a lot," she added. "He's so sweet and he tries to show how much he loves me."

Streeter admitted that his fiancée's pregnancy hasn't always been easy for him.

"I started to feel unappreciated, but I had to realize it has nothing to do with me," he explained. "You can't be selfish. You can't try to make it all about you. She has everything going on from all the symptoms, all the hormones ... but it doesn't last forever."

Streeter said he and Ward, 20, are expecting a baby boy in October. They plan to name him Wyatt Allen after Streeter's father, Ward added.

"It's the first thing we agreed on," she quipped, when explaining how they came up with the name.

As for Streeter, he's already looking forward to fatherhood.

"I'm most looking forward to honestly being able to hold my baby," he said. "We've gotten through the pregnancy and now I'm looking forward to starting our new life and just to watch him walk in my footsteps."
