— -- Thanksgiving is a fond memory, so it’s time to take down the Turkey Day decorations and start dressing up your house for Christmas.

The centerpiece to those decorations will, of course, be your Christmas tree. Clinton Kelly, co-host of ABC’s “The Chew,” appeared on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday to show how you can decorate your Christmas tree on a budget using material from your local craft store (and even your leftover wrapping paper!) to make ornaments and a tree-topper.
THE ORNAMENTS

Materials you’ll need: Clear glass ornaments, water-based glaze paint or decoupage medium, paints, plastic cups.
Method
1. Remove the top of the ornament and add a small amount of glaze or decoupage medium, about the size of a nickel, to the bottom.
2. Add generous drops of colored paints to the glaze inside the ball. Add more paint or glaze if needed to achieve desire look.
3. Swirl the paints to cover the inside of the glass ball and create a pattern.
4. Turn the ball upside down and place in a plastic cup, allowing the excess paint to drain from the ornaments. Allow to dry overnight. If the design is not to your liking, wash out with soapy water and start over.
5. Replace the ornament’s top and display.
