— -- Atlanta sure knows how to treat Mom right, according to OpenTable data, that is.

By analyzing stats on which cities have the highest number of people dining out through OpenTable per capita, the restaurant reservation company was able to find the top 25 cities that “love mom the most” on Mother’s Day -- at least through restaurant food.

Some other fun insights gleaned from the data crunch include Mother’s Day being the top day for group reservations the entire year. In fact, that special Sunday gets three times the number of reservations as any given Sunday and 62 percent more reservations than Father’s Day. Sorry, dads.

Unsurprisingly, most people choose to treat Mom to American cuisine, followed by Italian, seafood, steak and French food.
