— -- ABC News’ Lama Hasan got a special treat on the “Good Morning America” “40 for 40” livestream in London, enjoying high tea in the Ritz Hotel’s exclusive Palm Court.

“Which I’m delighted about,” Hasan said as she entered the gorgeous French doors into the famous restaurant.

She sat down with Andrew Love, the hotel’s deputy chairman, for traditional afternoon tea and an assortment of sandwiches and scones.

“I feel like I have to behave,” she quipped.

Indeed, there are a number of “house rules” that guests must abide by while dining in the Palm Court.

“When people book for tea they’re told they must wear a jacket and tie. No jeans, no sneakers,” Love explained. “It makes for elegance. I think that’s very important. We keep jackets and ties in case someone arrives [without them]. But we do take them back afterwards.”

HBO’s hit show “Downton Abbey” has even filmed at this iconic hotel.

“I’m not allowed to tell you what happens as much as I’d like to,” Love said of the yet-to-be released scenes from the Christmas special.

Then he presented Hasan with a special surprise: a beautiful cake celebrating the 40th anniversary of “Good Morning America.

“Happy Birthday, ‘Good Morning America,’” Love and his staff rejoice.
