Millions of birds flock to the Látrabjarg cliffs every breeding season. Birds come here for the rocky cliff sides which protect them from the northern winds, and is perfect for nesting.

A puffin lands in the colony, on the cliffs of Látrabjarg. The adult male and female Atlantic puffin are identical except that the male is a bit larger in size. They spend the autumn and winter in the colder northern oceans and return to the coastal region for breeding in late spring.
