Oct. 31, 2012 -- Emily Friedman (@EmilyABC) is a digital reporter and producer for ABC News. She is a regular contributor toABCNews.com and ABC News Radio.

Since May 2011, she has served as a digital campaign reporter covering Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential campaign.

Friedman joined ABC News in 2007 as a breaking news writer for ABCNews.com before becoming a general assignment field producer.

She covered the 2010 Gulf Coast oil spill, the Mississippi flooding in 2011 and broke several stories on the campaign trail, including news that Romney would receive United States Secret Service protection.

Friedman grew up in New York City and graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a double major in journalism and legal studies.
