— -- Bernie Sanders will be joining Hillary Clinton at a New Hampshire rally Tuesday, according to a statement released by the Clinton campaign this morning.

The event will take place at Portsmouth High School at 11 a.m., and Sanders and Clinton will "discuss their commitment to building an America that is stronger together and an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top," the statement added.

The announcement comes just one day after Democratic leaders were on track to agree on a draft platform before the Democratic National Convention at the end of the month.

The Vermont senator has been laser focused on it since the primary season wrapped up and has kept some of his top staffers on board to fight for the inclusion of his ideas.

The document — a formal declaration of the party's positions — includes language on breaking up too-big-to fail banks, a $15 hourly minimum wage, a price on carbon and decriminalization of marijuana.

The platform is expected to be formally adopted at the party's national convention in Philadelphia.
