— -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Donald Trump turned Twitter into their own virtual battlefield Wednesday, sniping back and forth at each other over their policy positions and some of their previous statements.
Warren fired off seven tweets, launching her third Twitter tirade against Trump.
The feud between the two ignited earlier this month, when Warren unleashed a series of tweets about Trump’s “racism, sexism and xenophobia,” and said that there was more support for Trump among members of the KKK than the leaders of the Republican Party.
Trump soon fired back, calling Warren “goofy.”
Today’s series of volleys from Warren and Trump are just the latest in their ongoing Twitter feud, with Warren making the opening salvos and Trump releasing his own slew of tweets shortly thereafter.
