Voters in Indiana, which has the majority of its counties in the Eastern Standard Time zone and some in the Central Standard Time zone, will head to the polls on June 2, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m EST. Early voting began May 26 and ran through June 1. There are 82 delegates available for Democrats and 58 for Republicans.
State significance
Indiana encouraged voters to request absentee ballots to vote in the primary. In 2016, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders narrowly won the state’s primary with 52% of the vote.
