Trump says he's not going to 'bend at all' on tariffs
"Any chances you'll bend on the tariffs on aluminum and the ones that are planned for April 2?" a reporter asked President Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Thursday.
"No," Trump responded, repeating his administration's main argument that the United States has been taken advantage of in trade deals with other nations.
"No I'm not going to bend at all. Aluminum or steel or cars. We're not going to bend," he said.

The president railed against Canada, saying it "only works as a state" and that the United States doesn't need their lumber, energy or cars.
"There's not a thing that we need. Now there'll be a little disruption, but it won't be very long," Trump said. "We have to do this, I'm sorry."
