— -- On the day of the Iowa caucuses, Republican contender Marco Rubio made his case for pragmatism.

Rubio said in an interview on "Good Morning America" that he'll "unite the conservative movement” if caucus-goers "nominate me."

Rubio appealed to Iowans, especially those supporting someone “not doing so well,” to caucus for someone who has “the best chance to win.”

He claimed that he has the best chance of winning the White House and vowed to restore Americans' faith in conservativism.

“If I’m our nominee, I know we will win, and so do the Democrats,” Rubio said. “This election, if we get it wrong, there may be no turning around for America.”

“Plus, we’re giving away sweet rolls!” he joked.
