The ABC Republican debate, moderated by ABC News’ David Muir & Martha Raddatz with additional questioning from WMUR anchor Josh McElveen and conservative journalist and blogger Mary Katharine Ham, aired live across the country and was Saturday night’s No. 1 program in all 3 Nielsen measures.

“New Hampshire: The Republicans Debate” generated nearly 1.3 Million live stream views across ABC News Digital's online, mobile and OTT platforms. Total live stream views on ABC News platforms are up +24% versus the 12/19/15 Democratic Debate.

The ABC Republican debate special delivered the network's best performance on the night with non-sports programming in over 14 years in Total Viewers and more than 5 years among Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 – since 9/22/01 and 12/31/11, respectively.

The ABC Republican debate special more than doubled ABC’s most-recent Republican debate (1/7/12) in Total Viewers (+110% - 13.181 million vs. 6.271 million), while nearly doubling in Adults 25-54 (+95% - 3.384 million vs. 1.737 million) and Adults 18-49 (+91% - 2.665 million vs. 1.397 million).

The ABC Republican debate special outperformed ABC’s “New Hampshire Democratic Debate” in December (12/19/15) in Total Viewers (+64% - 13.181 million vs. 8.030 million), Adults 25-54 (+72% - 3.384 million vs. 1.969 million) and Adults 18-49 (+63% - 2.665 million vs. 1.635 million).

Building its audience steadily throughout most of its 3-hour telecast, the ABC Republican debate peaked in the 9:30 – 10:00 p.m. half-hour with 15.137 million Total Viewers, 3.972 million Adults 25-54 and 3.170 million Adults 18-49.
