‘The View’ Sees Gains Year to Year Across the Board: Total Viewers (+13%), Women 25-54 (+6%) and Women 18-49 (+13%)
ABC’s “The View” averaged 2.635 million Total Viewers, 494,000 Women 25-54 and 392,000 Women 18-49 during the week of July 11, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “The View” outperformed CBS’ “The Talk” (2.602 million, 471,000 and 327,000, respectively) across the board: Total Viewers (+33,000), Women 25-54 (+23,000) and Women 18-49 (+65,000). In fact, “The View” saw its largest Women 18-49 margin of victory of the CBS program in 15 months – since w/o 4/13/15.
“The View” improved from the previous week by double-digits (2.252 million, 429,000 and 351,000, respectively, on w/o 7/4/16) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+17%), Women 25-54 (+15%) and Women 18-49 (+12%).
“The View” scored year to year increases (2.341 million, 464,000 and 348,000, respectively, on w/o 7/13/15) in Total Viewers (+13%), Women 25-54 (+6%) and Women 18-49 (+13%).
Season to date, “The View” leads CBS’ “The Talk” in Total Viewers (+2,000 – 2.761 million vs. 2.759 million) versus the same point last year.
