Week-to-Week, The View Improves in All Key Target Demos

Year-to-Year, The View Sees Total Viewer Gains By Double Digits (+14%)

ABCs The View averaged 2.693 million Total Viewers, 496,000 Women 25-54 and 362,000 Women 18-49 during the week of July 25, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. The View led CBS The Talk (2.584 million, 495,000 and 349,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+109,000), Women 25-54 (+1,000) and Women 18-49 (+13,000).  

For the 2nd week in a row, The View improved on the prior week (2.643 million, 456,000 and 337,000, respectively, on w/o 7/18/16) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+2%), Women 25-54 (+9%) and Women 18-49 (+7%).

The View saw Total Viewer gains year-to-year by double digits (+14% - 2.693 million vs. 2.367 million for w/o 7/27/15) for the 3rd straight week.  In fact, The View has delivered increases on the same week last year in Total Viewers in 21 of the last 22 weeks.      

Season to date, The View leads CBS The Talk in Total Viewers (+6,000 2.760 million vs. 2.754 million).

2016 to date, The View is improving in Total Viewers (+163,000 2.839 million vs. 2.676 million) and Women 18-49 (+4,000 557,000 vs. 553,000) compared to the same point in 2015.
