‘Nightline’ Is No.1 in Total Viewers for the 6th Straight Week for Week of June 27

— -- ABC News’ “Nightline” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.336 million) for the 6th week in a row during the week of June 27, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” outdelivered CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” (1.034 million) by 302,000 and NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” (1.308 million) by 28,000.

In addition, “Nightline” beat the CBS program in Adults 25-54 (+72,000 – 492,000 vs. 420,000) and Adults 18-49 (+43,000 – 384,000 vs. 341,000).

Season to date, “Nightline” leads CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” across the board: Total Viewers (+303,000), Adults 25-54 (+101,000) and Adults 18-49 (+59,000).

ABC News’ “Nightline” is anchored by Dan Harris, Juju Chang and Byron Pitts. Roxanna Sherwood is executive producer, and Steven Baker is senior broadcast producer. The program airs weeknights from 12:35-1:05 a.m. EDT on the ABC Television Network. Together with “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Nightline” is part of ABC’s winning late-night strategy of airing news and entertainment programming.
