2014-15 Season:

For the 2014-15 season, ABC News’ “Good Morning America was the No. 1 morning newscast in both Total Viewers (5.221 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.885 million), based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research. “GMA” outdelivered “Today” (4.682 million and 1.791 million, respectively) by 539,000 Total Viewers and by 94,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, “GMA” ranked No. 1 for the 3rd straight season in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. Additionally, the last time “GMA” won 3 seasons in a row in Total Viewers was 20 years ago (since winning the 1991-92, 92-93 and 93-94 seasons). The last time “GMA” led in Adults 25-54 for 3 consecutive season was well over 2 decades ago - since before the 1991-92 season (Nielsen’s electronic database started on September of 1991).

“Good Morning America turned in a dominant performance during the 2014-15 season, winning all 52 weeks in Total Viewers and 41 of 52 weeks in Adults 25-54.

3Q 2015:

“Good Morning America” won the 2015 3rd quarter in both Total Viewers (4.639 million), and Adults 25-54 (1.600 million), based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research. The 3Q15 victory marked “GMA’s” 13th straight quarter win in Total Viewers and 12th consecutive in Adults 25-54.

“GMA” outdelivered “Today” (4.225 million and 1.588 million) during the 3rd quarter for the 4th year in a row in overall viewers (+414,000) and for the 3rd year running in the key adult news demo (+12,000).

“GMA” beat “CBS This Morning” during 3Q15 by 1.422 million Total Viewers, 679,000 Adults 25-54 and 434,000 Adults 18-49.

Week of September 14, 2015:

“Good Morning America” finished as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (4.877 million) for the week of September 14, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “GMA” led “Today” (4.569 million) by 308,000 Total Viewers to win all 52 weeks of 2014-15 the season.

During the week, “GMA” outperformed “CBS This Morning” in Total Viewers (+46%/ +1.538 million), Adults 25-54 (+70%/+690,000) and Adults 18-49 (+64%/+445,000).
