“GMA” is #1 for the Week in Total Viewers Winning in All 37 Weeks of the Season

“GMA” is Increasing its Season Demo Advantage Over “Today by +19%

“GMA” is Delivering its Largest Adults 25-54 Season MarginOver “Today” in 22 Years

ABC News’ “Good Morning America” ranked as the week’s No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (4.986 million) for the week of June 1, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “GMA” beat NBC’s “Today” (4.602 million) by 384,000 Total Viewers, winning in all 37 weeks of the season.

Season to date, “GMA” is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. “GMA” is leading “Today” by 579,000 Total Viewers and by 123,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, “GMA” has increased its season margin over “Today” versus the same point last season in Adults 25-54 (+19% - 123,000 vs. 103,000). Further, “Today” is seeing its lowest Adults 25-54 season performance (1.871 million) in 23 years – since at least the 1991-92 season (Nielsen’s electronic database started on September of 1991).

Furthermore, ranking No. 1 for the 3rd-straight season in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, “GMA” is seeing its widest Adults 25-54 margin over “Today” in 22 years – since the 1992-93 season.

During the week, “GMA” led “CBS This Morning” in Total Viewers (+45%), Adults 25-54 (+82%) and Adults 18-49 (+78%).
