Leading the CBS Program by Its Largest Overall Viewer Advantage

Since Its Season Premiere Week

The View is Up Over the Same Week Last Year in Total Viewers for the 3rd Consecutive Week

ABCs The View averaged 2.887 million Total Viewers, 547,000 Women 25-54 and 399,000 Women 18-49 during the week of March 14, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. 

The View defeated CBS The Talk (2.592 million, 497,000 and 389,000, respectively) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+295,000), Women 25-54 (+50,000) and Women 18-49 (+10,000).  In fact, The View led the CBS program by its largest overall viewer advantage since its season premiere week in September (w/o 9/7/15), while leading in Women 25-54 and Women 18-49 for the 3rd week running.

The View was up over the previous week in Total Viewers (+3% - 2.887 million vs. 2.804 million on w/o 3/7/16).

The View outdelivered its year-ago week performance in Total Viewers (+4% - 2.887 million vs. 2.775 million on w/o 3/16/15) for the 3rd week in a row.

NOTE: CBS The Talk was preempted on Thu 3/17/16 and Fri 3/18/16 due to NCAA Basketball.  The Talks averages are based on 3 days (Mon-Wed).
