‘The View’ Sees Gains on the Year-Ago Week in All Key Target Demos: Total Viewers (+9%), Women 25-54 (+5%) and Women 18-49 (+4%)

— -- The View Posts Across-the-Board Increases on the Year-Ago Sweep: Total Viewers (+9%), Women 25-54 (+6%) and Women 18-49 (+7%)

 

Week of May 23, 2016:

ABCs The View averaged 2.646 million Total Viewers, 499,000 Women 25-54 and 378,000 Women 18-49 during the week of May 23, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. 

For the 2nd week in a row, The View turned in gains on the year-earlier week (2.422 million, 477,000 and 364,000, respectively, on w/o 5/25/15) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+9%), Women 25-54 (+5%) and Women 18-49 (+4%).  In fact, The View has delivered increases year to year in all 3 measures in 5 of the last 6 weeks.  

2016 to date, The View is improving in Total Viewers (+121,000 2.891 million vs. 2.770 million) and Women 25-54 (+4,000 578,000 vs. 574,000) compared to the same point in 2015.

May 2016 Sweep:

ABCs The View delivered 2.805 million Total Viewers, 541,000 Women 25-54 and 423,000 Women 18-49 during the 2016 May Sweep, based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research.   

The View posted across-the-board increases on the year-ago sweep (2.564 million, 509,000 and 396,000, respectively, for May 2015) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+9%), Women 25-54 (+6%) and Women 18-49 (+7%).
