“This Week" Ranks #1 in Adults 25-54 for 6th Consecutive Week

“This Week” Grows by Double-Digits Year-to-Year in Adults 25-54 (+36%) and Total Viewers (+12%)

Season to Date, “This Week” is Delivering its Strongest News Demo Performance in 6 years

ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” finished as Sunday’s No. 1 public affairs program in Adults 25-54 (817,000) on July 5, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. Standing as the No. 1 public affairs program in Adults 25-54 for the 6th Sunday in a row, “This Week” is posting its longest winning streak in more than 20 years in the key adult news demo (since 9/4 – 10/8/94).

In Adults 25-54, “This Week” outdelivered CBS’ “Face the Nation” (+231,000), NBC’s “Meet the Press” (+180,000) and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” (+511,000) to lead for the 8th time in the last 9 weeks.

For the 4th consecutive week, “This Week” built on the same Sunday last year (2.346 million and 599,000, respectively, on 7/6/14) in both Total Viewers (+12%) and Adults 25-54 (+36%). In addition, “This Week” improved the most in the key adult news demo compared to CBS’ “Face the Nation” (+1%), NBC’s “Meet the Press” (+20%) and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” (+2%)

Season to date, “This Week” is up in Adults 25-54 (+4% - 875,000 vs. 838,000) versus its year-ago season average. Growing its Adults 25-54 performance for the 3rd year in a row, “This Week” is delivering its strongest news demo performance in 6 years – since the 2008-09 season. In fact, “This Week” is the only program to grow in Adults 25-54, as CBS’ “Face the Nation” (-1%), NBC’s “Meet the Press” (-1%) and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” (-1%) are all down.

In addition, “This Week” is outdelivering NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+22,000) and Adults 25-54 (+68,000) for the 2nd-straight year, seeing its largest news demo lead in 21 years – since the 1993-94 season.
