Tokyo beat out the competition to host the 2020 Summer Olympic Games. Japan's capital city beat out Istanbul and Madrid in the last rounds of voting by the International Olympic Committee.

It will be the second time Tokyo has hosted the games. The city hosted the 1964 games.

Rapper Eminem made an unexpected and awkward appearance on ESPN's "Saturday Night Football" halftime show Saturday night to promote his new single "Berzerk." The interview with announcers Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit got off to a rocky start.

"So you have the single out, album's coming out in November, what are you most excited about with this new album?" Herbstreit asked.

"Uh, nothing," said Eminem.

"Nothing?" Herbstreit said.

"Uh, well it'll be out November 5th. I'll probably be most excited to just be done with it," Eminem replied.

Eminem said later, "Yeah, sorry, live TV, live TV freaks me out a little bit."

One Direction's Third Album Drops Nov. 25

Get ready One Direction fans.

The chart-topping boy band's third album is set to hit stores on Nov. 25.

"YES - 1D's 3rd album is MIDNIGHT MEMORIES & is out Nov 25th! AND you can pre-order Mon! 1DHQ x #RememberRememberThe25thNovember," the band tweeted on their official twitter account.

For die-hard fans, the album will be available for pre-order on Sept. 9 on iTunes.

iPhone 5 Excitement Builds Up

Will Apple finally unveil its new iPhone 5 models on Tuesday? The excitement is building for Tuesday, when it is expected that Apple announce the next version of its popular smartphone.

According to many leaked photos, Apple will announce two phones -- the iPhone 5S, an update to the iPhone 5; and the iPhone 5C, a lower-cost phone.

On Sept. 10, Apple will hold an event at its campus in Cupertino, Calif., according to an invitation sent to members of the media.

The invitation reads: "This should brighten everyone's day." Surrounding the text are colorful dots, which match Apple's forthcoming colorful iOS 7 operating system and perhaps the colorful versions of the rumored iPhone 5C.

'The Fifth Estate' Imitates Life

As the Toronto International Film Festival kicked off this past week, "The Fifth Estate" attempts to shed light behind the story of Wikileaks and its founder, Julian Assange.

Benedict Cumberbatch of "Sherlock Holmes" fame, steps into the Assange role. The film will be released on Oct. 18, unless of course it gets leaked online first.
