Aug. 25, 2013— -- 0quicklist: 1title: Danica Patrick Scores With Shoes, Not on Speedwaytext: She may have come in 26th place after what she had described as "500 painful laps" around the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tenn., on Saturday, but race car driver Danica Patrick apparently scored a serious sartorial trophy that might have made up for the disappointing finish.

Turns out Bruton Smith, chairman of Speedway Motorsports Inc., which owns a number of Sprint Cup Series tracks including the Bristol Motor Speedway, gifted her with a new pair of Jimmy Choos in July, USA Today reported.

"They are very fancy, very dressy," Patrick told USA Today about the gift from earlier this summer. "I haven't found the right occasion for them."

This isn't the first pair of shoes Smith has purchased for Patrick. Turns out, he bought her a pair of Y. Jaiselle heels back in 2010.

"Sometimes, it's just good to be a girl," Patrick said.

quicklist: 2title: Bill Cosby Eschews Pudding for Chili text: Landmark D.C. eatery Ben's Chili Bowl celebrated its 55th anniversary on Thursday, and everyone's favorite sweater-wearing TV dad showed up to join in the festivities.

Cosby, who voices the Bowl's hold message, honored the restaurant's longtime employees alongside the Rev. Jesse Jackson and Mayor Vincent Gray, NBC Washington, D.C. affiliate WRC-TV reported.

Founded in 1958, the greasy spoon is known for its chili half-smoke hot dogs and has won over the hearts and stomachs of many a D.C. denizen, including President Obama, who stopped by before his January 2009 inauguration, according to its website.

"You really don't have to pay much attention, just walk around and enjoy," Cosby joked. "Please, and take your medication."

"I love this person. She's worth it to me," West told Jenner.

"She's my joy and she brought my new joy into the world. There's no paparazzi and there's no blog comment that's going to take that joy from me."

"That's pretty amazing," Jenner replied.

Touché.

quicklist: 5title: Drew Barrymore Takes Over the Worldtext: Drew Barrymore wears many hats. She's an actress, a mother, a wife, a producer, a vintner (check out Barrymore Wines), and has taken on so many other roles the Social Climber is bound to forget a few. Oh, did we mention she even has her own cosmetic line at Wal-Mart?

But the 38-year-old has decided none of these titles are enough to quench her thirst for world domination. No – she has decided to add photographer to the list.

Barrymore is partnering with Little, Brown and Company to release a book of the snapshots she's taken of hearts, entitled "Find It in Everything," Entertainment Weekly reported.

"I have always loved hearts," Barrymore said in a news release. "The way that one continuous line accomplishes the most extraordinary thing — it conveys love. Hearts are my beacons. I love them man-made and natural, young and old. Whenever and wherever I see the heart shape, a smile spreads across my face. The heart has an unbeatable romance when you discover one where you least expect it."

Drop everything and pre-order the book on Amazon, climbers – it won't hit shelves until January 2014.
