'Homeland' Premieres; Patriots Win

The show stars Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, a CIA officer with bipolar disorder intent on stopping terrorism, and -- at least up until last season -- Damian Lewis as Nicholas Brody, a Marine who was held captive by terrorists and "turned."

A Twitter account for the show has been getting fans pumped up for days, and last night the premiere finally debuted. We don't want to spoil what happens in the new season, but viewers on Twitter applauded new characters and called the show "mind-blowing" and "heart-stopping."

The second episode airs next Sunday at 9 p.m. EST.

And Dallas. And Oklahoma City. Okay, she's going to a lot of places. The country star announced new details about her Certified Platinum Tour, including nearly 30 cities she plans to play for, according to CMT.com.

Lambert also said singers Justin Moore, RaeLynn, Sunny Sweeney, Ashley Monroe and Danielle Bradbery will open various shows during the tour, CMT.com reported.

It's not clear when the tour begins, but Lambert has two shows coming up: Oct. 18 in Georgia and Dec. 30 in North Carolina.

text: Hewlett-Packard announced its splitting into two companies: one that focuses on its personal computer and printing business and another focused on technology services, The Associated Press reported.

The PC and printer business will use the name HP Inc., and the services business will use the name Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, according to the AP.

The company has been hit by a shift to mobile devices and tablets, which reduced the demand for desktop and laptop computer, and printers. HP has laid off tens of thousands of people in recent years.
