Kraft has issued a voluntary recall on some of its string cheese products on Friday, saying that the some cheeses may spoil and change color before the package expiration dates, according to its website.

The at-risk cheeses are dated Oct. 25 through February 11, 2014.

Kraft apologized to its customers on its website, saying it was sorry that the cheeses "did not meet our high standards."

It's unclear if Heinz was knew the split was coming, but declined to comment to Reuters regarding the loss of business.

But the loss may be more apparent overseas. The only McDonald's locations still stocking the ketchup are in Pittsburgh and Minneapolis, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
