text: Jameis Winston, 20, is back in the spotlight, this time for allegedly shoplifting $32 worth of crab legs from a Publix supermarket, according to ESPN.
The Florida State University quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner was issued a civil citation -- commonly given to first-time offenders -- Tuesday and was also suspended from FSU’s baseball team, which he also plays on. He has been given 20 hours of community service for his alleged misdeeds in lieu of criminal prosecution.
"He was very cooperative," Leon County Sheriff's Maj. Michael Wood told reporters at a news conference Wednesday. "Seemed fairly honest in the fact that he did not pay for the items, so it was not a huge mystery to solve."

An Italian court has upheld a tax fraud conviction handed to high-profile fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, despite the prosecutor’s calling for the case to be dropped, according to the AP.
Dolce and Gabbana originally received a 20-month suspended sentence, but the court reduced it to 18 months Wednesday.
They are accused of hiding 200 million euros (about $268 million) from tax authorities, through a Luxembourg holding company, although the prosecutor later decided the company was "a legal operation" and asked the court to drop the case.
The designers' defense lawyer Massimo Dinoia criticized the court for ignoring the prosecutor's recommendation and pledged an appeal to Italy's highest court.

text: Montana Supreme Court justices Wednesday overturned a one-month sentence given to a former high school teacher convicted of raping a 14-year-old student.
The court ordered that Stacey Dean Rambold, who was 47 at the time of the rape, be re-sentenced by a new judge. He will receive a minimum of two years under state sentencing laws, the AP reported.
Rambold was a business teacher at Billings Senior High School in 2007 when he raped one of his students who later killed herself in 2010. His attorney, Jay Lansing, was not immediately available for comment.
