— -- The U.S. has one more opportunity to advance in the 2014 World Cup after Sunday's heartbreaking 2-2 draw against Portugal -- if it wins or ties Thursday's match against Germany.

Germany is considered one of the best teams in the tournament but the USA has made an impressive improvement over the past decade, and has all-star players including Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey and Tim Howard on its side.
