— -- Andrew Wiggins officially announced Monday that he's leaving Kansas after one season and declaring for the NBA draft.

Wiggins announced his decision at a news conference at Allen Fieldhouse.

"This wasn't an easy decision for me," Wiggins said Monday. "College goes by so fast. I can see why people stay all four years."

The 6-foot-8 Wiggins led Kansas in scoring at 17.1 points per game and averaged 5.9 rebounds. The Canadian was the Big 12 freshman of the year and a first-team all-conference selection. Wiggins is expected to be one of the top picks in the draft.
