— -- PITTSBURGH -- Ben Roethlisberger was carted to the Steelers' locker room after suffering a left foot injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's victory over the Raiders.

Roethlisberger was carried to the Steelers' sideline after being sacked by Oakland's Aldon Smith. He was put on a cart and taken to the locker room, evoking fearful images of the franchise quarterback spraining his MCL in Week 3, an injury that kept him out four weeks.

The Steelers announced that Roethlisberger eventually left Heinz Field to undergo further evaluation.

Right tackle Marcus Gilbert tossed his helmet in disgust after talking with Roethlisberger on the sideline.

Roethlisberger passed for 334 yards, two touchdowns and an interceptions before being replaced by Landry Jones, who completed a 59-yard pass to Antonio Brown in the final minute to help set up Chris Boswell's game-winning field goal.
