— -- CINCINNATI -- Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Green suffered a hamstring injury on the Bengals' first series Sunday and will not return to the game against the Buffalo Bills.

Green got his right foot caught awkwardly as he tried to make a contested catch on Cincinnati's first pass of the game. He grabbed his right hamstring as he hit the ground, and he stayed down for several minutes.

Green left the field and was taken to the sideline, where he was assisted by two trainers before getting into a cart that took him to the Bengals' locker room.

He is scheduled to have an MRI on Monday.

Green has 66 catches on the season for 964 yards and 4 touchdowns.
