— -- A host of star players went down with injuries this week. Here are the most significant names who got banged up.

Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers: Big Ben already missed four games earlier this season with a torn MCL, and on Sunday against the Raiders, he had to be taken to the locker room by cart with a foot injury in the fourth quarter. He did not return to the game, but the Steelers eked out a 38-34 win. According to ESPN Insider Adam Schefter, Roethlisberger is expected to miss a few weeks with a foot sprain.

Dion Lewis, RB, New England Patriots: Lewis went down with a non-contact knee injury with 5:40 remaining in the third quarter and missed the remainder of the game. He grabbed for his knee immediately toward the tail end of a 14-yard catch. Lewis entered this week as the Patriots' second-leading wide receiver with 349 yards and two touchdowns. He was also averaging 4.9 yards per carry on the ground. Schefter reported that preliminary test revealed Lewis' ACL was "loose," which is a bad sign. More clarity will come after Lewis gets an MRI.

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Minnesota Vikings: Bridgewater suffered a concussion on a 5-yard scramble early in the fourth quarter. Rams DB  Lamarcus Joyner was flagged for a late hit on the play, as he struck Bridgewater in the head with his forearm while the quarterback was sliding to the ground. Coach Mike Zimmer called the hit a cheap shot in his postgame press conference.

Latavius Murray, RB, Oakland Raiders: Murray suffered a concussion in the third quarter on a 3-yard run off the left side. He fumbled the ball on the play and did not return to the game. The third-year back missed one game last season with a concussion he sustained in Week 12 against the Chiefs. Coach Jack Del Rio said after the game that Murray is going through the NFL's concussion protocol.

LeSean McCoy, RB, Buffalo Bills: McCoy was having his best game of the season (112 rushing yards and one touchdown) when he went to the locker room with a shoulder injury and did not return. Shady didn't seem too worried about it after the game, telling reporters, "I should be fine for Thursday's game" against the Jets.

Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay PackersLacy had been largely ineffective on Sunday against the Panthers (five carries, 10 yards, one fumble) before being ruled out in the third quarter with a groin injury. Backup James Starks didn't miss a beat, compiling 122 total yards and a touchdown.

Sebastian Vollmer, OT, New England PatriotsNew England's offensive line has been ravaged by injuries so far this season, and it might've gotten worse on Sunday. Vollmer, who's started all eight games this season, left the game with a concussion and did not return. The Patriots are down to five healthy offensive linemen.

Nick Mangold, C, New York Jets: The Jets struggled to generate any push up front against the Jaguars after Mangold, a two-time All-Pro center, left the game early with a neck injury. RB Chris Ivory had just 26 rushing yards on 23 carries.

Sean Lee, LB, Dallas CowboysLee just can't catch a break. The Cowboys linebacker suffered his second concussion in six weeks Sunday night against the Eagles. It's the latest in a long string of injuries for Lee, including a torn ACL that cost him all of last season. He's played just 30 of a possible 56 games in the past three-and-a-half seasons.
