Chambers, Baker score 20-plus each in Bulldog romp

— -- MARTIN, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Cori Chambers scored 29 points and Sherill Baker added 21 as No. 18 Georgia coasted to an 81-47 triumph over Tennessee-Martin. The Lady Bulldogs led, 23-18, with 6:04 left in the first half before adding to their advantage with a 15-0 run to close it out. Georgia shot 42 percent (14-of-33) from the floor in the opening 20 minutes. The duo of Chambers and Baker combined to make 20-of-31 shots overall. Chambers added nine boards while Baker contributed seven steals for the Lady Bulldogs (9-3). Tennessee-Martin (3-6) could not contain Georgia after the break as the visitors connected on 18-of-32 shots and drained 6-of-12 (50 percent) from long range after the break. Alexis Kendrick scored nine points and Megan Darrah added seven for the Lady Bulldogs, who held a 26-14 advantage in points in the paint and collected 16 steals. Andreika Jackson had 18 points and nine rebounds and Kimberly Cox added 10 points for the Skyhawks (3-6), which shot 35 percent (15-of-42) from the field and committed 18 turnovers.
