Donald Trump weighs in on Flacco's 'eliteness,' Romo's injury and Brady's hot start

— -- Remember a few weeks back when someone showed up to the first Republican debate with a sign asking whether  Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco is "elite"? At the time, we had hoped to hear Donald Trump's thoughts on the issue, because why not? On Monday that wish came true (see video above).

Trump is right: Flacco is the owner of a Super Bowl ring and one of the strongest arms in the NFL.

If you were still on the fence about Flacco's eliteness, this no doubt swayed you one way or the other.

Another topic that Trump hit on in his Twitter Q&A: The impact of Tony Romo's broken collarbone.

The interesting thing here isn't necessarily Trump's answer on Romo -- we can all surmise that his getting injured isn't good news for the Cowboys -- but that Trump used it as an opportunity to again bring up his relationship with Tom Brady.

You might remember:  Brady endorsed Trump for president last week, then proceeded to throw for 466 yards and three touchdowns on Sunday. Coincidence? Trump thinks not.
