The Jaguars later released a statement saying that Ivory was "doing well and is expected to be released from the hospital in the next day or two."
A source told ESPN's Jeff Darlington that Ivory was admitted for precautionary reasons, resulting from an issue unrelated to his injured calf.
Ivory had been limited in practice last week with the calf injury, but that was not expected to keep him from playing Sunday. T.J. Yeldon started in Ivory's place.
Yeldon finished with 39 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries in the Jaguars' 27-23 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
