Merger of Equals takes Aqueduct feature

— -- NEW YORK -- Merger of Equals scored a one length victory over Wild Humor in Wednesday's $43,000 allowance feature for 3-year-old fillies at Aqueduct. It was three-quarters of a length back to Royal Fudge, who finished third in the seven-horse field. Merger of Equals, with Norberto Arroyo, Jr. aboard, covered six furlongs in 1:11 2/5 to earn $25,800 for Stuart Graht. The winner paid $47.60, $15.60 and $8.40. Wild Humor paid $5.30 and $4.40, and Royal Fudge was $6.40 to show.
