— -- Speaking publicly for the first time since the Wells report was released Wednesday, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said, "I don't really have any reaction. Our owner commented on it yesterday. It's only been 30 hours, so I haven't had much time to digest it fully, but when I do, I'll let you know."

Brady's remarks came at the Salem State Speaker Series, a pre-scheduled appearance in which he was interviewed by Jim Gray.

Asked when he plans to address the Wells report, Brady said, "Hopefully soon. I'll certainly want to be very comfortable in the statements I want to make."

Asked if this detracted from his joy of winning the Super Bowl, Brady said, "absolutely not," drawing out the word "absolutely."
