— -- Rougned Odor is hoping to capitalize on his punch ... eventually.

The Texas Rangers second baseman, whose punch to  Jose Bautista's face Sunday resulted in an eight-game suspension, is planning on signing autographs at a Texas memorabilia shop.

The event was originally scheduled to take place at Field of Dream in Frisco on June 4, but it was put on hold later Saturday afternoon with a new date to be determined.

Store manager Brett Kravitz told ESPN that the signing had to be postponed after Odor's representatives expressed to his boss that the timing wasn't good considering he was still going through the appeals process with Major League Baseball.

The store is charging $40 more for Odor to sign a "punch item." For his appearance at the shop, 35 miles north of Globe Life Park at Arlington, Odor will sign a photo of himself for $59, but a photo of the punch costs $99.

Earlier, Kravitz said he thought the store would sell all 500 autograph tickets for the event and that about 95 percent of attendees will want something punch-related.

Inscriptions will cost an additional $20. Kravitz said two inscriptions Odor might sign would be "Don't Mess With Texas," a popular inscription on the famous Nolan Ryan-Robin Ventura punch photo and "Bat Flip Will Get You Fat Lip," a reference to Bautista's famous bat flip in Game 5 of last season's AL Division Series with the Rangers.

Odor also has another way to benefit from his fisticuffs with Bautista: A Fort Worth-based BBQ place offered him free food for life.
