— -- STILLWATER, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- No. 7 Oklahoma State wraps up a three-game homestand Saturday when it meets Sam Houston State at Gallagher-Iba Arena. Through two games, coach Eddie Sutton's team is shooting 56 percent from the field, including a blistering 72 percent in the second half of a 90-65 win over Arkansas-Little Rock on Tuesday. John Lucas scored 22 points and Frans Steyn added a career-high 11 as Oklahoma State extended its home winning streak to 19 games. Entering Saturday's action, the Cowboys have 36 straight home wins and 115 in their last 116 vs. non-conference opponents. Sutton will look for a stronger effort on the glass Saturday as Oklahoma State has been outrebounded by an average of 4.5 through its first two games. The Bearkats may be the team the Cowboys can dominate on the boards. They were outrebounded, 48-26, in a 57-44 loss to Binghamton on November 20 in the Blue-Gold Classic. Eddy Fobbs scored 13 points and Wilder Auguste added 11, but only one other player had more than four in the loss. Saturday will be the first meeting between the schools.
