— -- PITTSBURGH -- The Steelers are turning to a former top-10 pick approaching bust status for their cornerback help.

The Cleveland Browns have swung a trade with Pittsburgh on Saturday for Justin Gilbert, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

A source confirms the Steelers are giving up a sixth-round pick in 2018 for the rights to Gilbert, the eighth overall pick in 2014 who has managed just 39 tackles in two seasons.

Gilbert is talented but has had problems adjusting to NFL life, making a habit of tardiness with team meetings. He wasn't in the Browns' plans under new coach Hue Jackson.

The Steelers get much-needed corner depth behind William Gay, Ross Cockrell and Artie Burns.
