— -- OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry left Saturday night's game against the Denver Nuggets due to a bruised left shin and did not return in the second half.

Curry had missed the Warriors' two previous games with the same injury, which he initially suffered Monday against the Sacramento Kings. On Saturday, Curry reinjured the knee and exited action with 2:15 remaining in the second quarter.

According to the team, Curry was hurt on a collision into his left leg. He played 14 minutes total and scored five points.

Curry had said before Saturday night's game that though the leg had felt better lately, the pain hadn't completely gone away.

"Pretty much my whole leg," he said. "It's just like swelling and stuff that moves around, and you feel it pretty much everywhere, so the impact is on my shin. But I've learned over the past 48 hours where the impact is. It can radiate all over."
