The Super Bowl marked the team's first meeting since that match-up.
This time the outcome was a different one.
With the Patriots squeaking out a 28-24 victory, Brady took a knee to end the game. Sherman was the first person to greet him, extending his hand as a sign of sportsmanship.
Sherman and Brady shook hands, a moment of respect between two stars.
