— -- Editor's note: The Big Monday Smack Talk tweets between Lindsey Harding and Kristi Toliver can be found on espnW's women's basketball page once the game tips at 7 p.m. ET Monday.

They're teammates in the WNBA, but Lindsey Harding and Kristi Toliver will be cheering for opposite teams when Duke hosts Maryland on Big Monday.

The two former women's college basketball stars will take to Twitter for espnW.com's Smack Talk when No. 3 Duke hosts No. 9 Maryland at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN2 and WatchESPN). During Big Monday games on ESPN2 this season, a former player from each team will square off on Twitter throughout the contest, tweeting one another until the final whistle.

Harding (@Lindsey_Harding) and Toliver (@KristiToliver) started alongside each other in the Los Angeles Sparks' backcourt last season. Toliver has played the past four seasons in L.A. after spending her first WNBA season with Chicago. Harding is a seven-year WNBA veteran who played for Minnesota, Washington and Atlanta before landing in L.A. for the 2013 season.

While at Duke, Harding was the 2007 Naismith National Player of the Year. Toliver, meanwhile, helped lead the Terps to the 2006 NCAA championship as a freshman, beating Harding's Blue Devils in the national title game.

Monday's Smack Talk will have an international flair as Toliver will be tweeting from Moscow, where she plays for Spartak in the WNBA offseason.

Be sure to follow both players on Twitter and look for their tweets with #MondaySmackTalk. Both @ESPN_WomenHoop and @WNBA will retweet portions of their Twitter chat.

Additionally, espnW's Charlie Creme (@CharlieCreme) will host a Bracketology Q&A on Twitter at the start of the second half.
