Updates/analysis (most recent first)

Ryan Tannehill (noon): Are there problems ahead today for the Miami quarterback? Not only is Arian Foster out, but LG Laremy Tunsil reportedly got hurt in pregame warmups and will also sit. Combine that with the injury to LT Branden Albert, and pass protection might be wanting.

Tom Brady (11:55 a.m.): He is back in action following his suspension, and he will have close to a full complement of offensive weapons at his disposal as Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski and LeGarrette Blount are all active for New England.

Detroit Lions (11:45 a.m.): Marvin Jones is active but Eric Ebron is out, and according to ESPN Insider's Adam Caplan, may not return for a couple of weeks.

Stefon Diggs (11:30 a.m.): ESPN's Ed Werder reports that the wide receiver will not play today for the Vikings, and that he expects Jarius Wright to get a lot of opportunities in his absence.

Dan Bailey (11 a.m.): Although the Cowboys worked out potential replacement kickers during the week, they did not end up signing any of them ahead of today's game. That's the best indication that Bailey (back) should be out there for all field goal and extra point attempts that come Dallas' way.

Arian Foster (10:50 a.m.): The Miami Herald reports that Foster will not be active today, which should not come as a great surprise, as the running back had been listed as doubtful on the team's injury report. Jay Ajayi owners should expect an uptick in fantasy value as a result.

Chicago Bears (8:45 a.m.): It appears both Alshon Jeffery and Zach Miller will likely be able to play today, but the fate of Eddie Royal remains up in the air. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport expects the veteran to be a game-time decision.

Antonio Gates (8:40 a.m.): NFL Network's Ian Rapoport notes that while Gates (hamstring) will return today -- barring an unexpected setback -- his snap count may be limited. Given his last start for the Chargers, you might want to roll with other options

New England Patriots (7:50 a.m.): ESPN's Mike Reiss writes that fantasy owners shouldn't be afraid about LeGarrette Blount's ability to play this week, despite being limited in practice because of a hip injury. Rob Gronkowski (hamstring) is also expected to be active, while? Julian Edelman (foot) -- though he did make the trip to Cleveland -- is the most questionable of the trio.

Baltimore Ravens (7:40 a.m.): The team is expected to start Terrance West at running back, but ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Kenneth Dixon (knee) will be able to back him up in today's game.

LeSean McCoy (7:35 a.m.): A source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter that McCoy will be able to suit up in Week 5 for Buffalo's game against the Rams. McCoy is dealing with a hand injury that the player calls "minor."

Quincy Enunwa (7:30 a.m.): With Eric Decker out for the Jets, not having Enunwa in the lineup would be a huge hit to the team. ESPN's Rich Cimini projects that Enunwa will play, as well as TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, finally set to make his New York debut.

Official Sunday inactives should begin coming in at approximately 11:30 a.m. ET for the early games, 2:30 p.m. ET for the later set and 7 p.m. ET for the Sunday night game.
